In collaboration with the Youth in Landscape Initiative (YIL) of the Global Landscapes Forum (GLF), FAO and the Collaborative Partnership on Forests (CPF), IFSA in February 2018 read a course about how to halting deforestation in Rome.

The online short-course consists of brief, essential material presented as videos, blogs and articles that introduce why the world should halt deforestation, why forests are important and the benefits they provide; what is causing deforestation and who is doing it; and the global action underway to do something about it, and more, through 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals. Special attention will be given to the role played by gender and on communication.
